Our current good cause is PARKINSON'S UK*
As with other charities that we have supported in the past, this one is close to our collective heart as one of our colleagues suffers from this cruel disease.
For those who are not familiar with it, Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. It causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time.
There's currently no cure for Parkinson's but there are lots of different treatments, therapies and support available to help sufferers manage the condition.
Throughout the Corvid-19 pandemic, we had to cancel our planned gigs, however, you don't have to wait for our concerts to support this charity's important work. You can donate via their site here. Please give generously.

OTHER CHARITY NEWS
We raised £1,662.80 for the RNLI in April at Marlborough. Another essential, life-saving cause, staffed by courageous volunteers, to which we're extremely pleased to have made a modest contribution.
At the beginning of March 2025 we sang in Hullavington Village Hall with Lee Broderick to riase money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, the disease which had claimed Carolyne, our leader Chris' mother. Being a fit young chap, Lee also did a sponsored marathon.
We're delighted to report we raised a combined £2250.00 for the cause and enjoyed a cracking night.

In November 2019 we joined with Corinium Community Choir for a fundraising gig in the Sundial Theatre, Cirencester, in support of the Donor Family Network, a charity which encourages organ donation and supports families whose loved ones provide the gift of life through organ donation.
We have a special reason to support this charity as our friend and fellow bass singer, John Mayell, is one of the UK's longest surviving kidney recipient. John is also a member of the Corinium Community Choir.
We raised over £2000.
